Video Editing Workshop March 28!

The wonderful Hollie Rutledge will be leading a video editing workshop with UNC STV and the Department of Communication in Swain Hall 101A (in the annex of the building- door is next to the toll booth) from 7:30-9pm on March 28th. The workshop will provide a run through of shortcuts, effects, timing etc that lead to more efficient editing. They will be going over Adobe Premiere Pro CC and anyone is welcome to come! It probably will only last an hour, so come out to learn some cool things! It's great for students in COMM 130/230 and MEJO 585.

RSVP for the workshop, as space is limited!

Apply to be Station Manager!

0 Comments | Posted

Sadly, Mariana is graduating in May, and Student Television will need a new Station Manager for next year. With that, the 2017-2018 STV Station Manager application is now live! Any student who will be graduating May 2018 or later can apply, regardless of whether or not they have been a part of STV before.

For the application, there is no need to submit a resume or cover letter; simply respond to the questions in the linked document below. Applications should be typed on a word document and emailed to the current Station Manager, Mariana Abou-Rizk, at abourizk@live.unc.edu.  Applications are DUE on MARCH 22, 2017 no later than 11:59PM. This is two days after the end of spring break.

If you have any questions about the application, please email Mariana at abourizk@live.unc.edu. According to her, the most important parts of being Station Manager are being in frequent contact with producers and other STV members, networking, and making time for STV work.
